a Hurst V-Matic II shifter and 3' cable
and a pair of ceramic coated Hedman "Block Hugger" headers ........... which can be polished to a chrome like shine but won't discolor from heat

The headers look really good, I have a Hurst Star Shifter in my 55 Chevy after switching from a 4 speed to a 350 auto. Where did you get the Headers?

For sure!! I recall Jim's torsion bar suspension on at least one of his builds, but I'm not sure which one! Maybe the Track T?? He's a talented builder.
