Kansas
Here is some footage from the system that tore through Kansas the other night. Fortunitly for my son and I we live about 8 miles north if town. So all that we got was 1.5" of rain and a lot of wind. But several people that I personaly know are not that lucky. But they did get out with there lives. One person that I know was picked up by the tornado and lost an arm.
Todate Kansas leads the Country with almost 200 confirmed tornados. DAMN
The Army and area Police departments have been serving the area great while all of the local guys are haveing to find new homes to move to. The storm took out 85% of Chapman. My sons High school is gone, his junior year not sure where he will be going. But hopefully his senior year he will have a new school to walk into.

Man, that was ugly!!! Tornado's are bad enough in the daytime, but at night you don't even know when it's on top of you!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Sounds like you dodged a big bullet.
How'd they do down the road in Solomon?Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Glad to hear you guys are safe. I've been thru hurricanes and earthquakes, but tornados scare me to death. We were caving in Arkansaw when one snuck up behind us, and one one in front of us. Some of the scariest hours of my life. Sorry to hear about all the damage this one left in it's wake!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Glad to hear that you all were not directly affected by that tornado. I don't think I could live where they are possibly everyday occurences for months. We have about 6 tornado watches/warnings a year in my region, and they are usually no larger than an F2, still alot of damage but not nearly as bad or as many as what you all get out in the midwest.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

I feel sorry for the people. It is unbelievable when the tornado has gone the damage it’s left behind. I had relatives that lived in Wichita, Kanakas. I almost settled there after getting out of the service 1967. I saw where a tornado had gone through Ohio in the mid 70’s it was unreal.
