My 4th july
Spent my 4th of July working, trying to keep the temperature up in the workshop, only about 50deg F. Raining again today, temperature about 42degF,[6deg Celsius]. Hail showers, cold,no thunder yet though, Wish we were up your neck of the woods in the warmth, enjoying a cold one.
Have a good holiday guys and gals.

Raining all day here. Not doing much of anything. Playing with the kittens. Looks like no fireworks or grilling today.Bob

I bolted the Flex-A-Lite fan to my Zip mount and messed with shim washers to to keep the fan blades away from the alternator by about 1/16" but then went with the grandkids to the big celebration at Yorktown. They got their feet into the York River on the sandy beach long enough to see some jellyfish up close and we had a pretty good time with free music and a crowd estimated at 20,000. The Internet advertised "classic cars" but we saw nary a one. Then it started to rain! The kids wanted to see the fireworks and they fired them in the rain and it was the best fireworks I have ever seen! The kids enjoyed the great fireworks even in the rain and I will have to wait until they go home to get back in the garage and finish installing the Zip fan and the Walker shroud.

I did go 2 towns over to watch the fireworks, but they didn't have them ( guess I should have checked first ).. so we drove 2 towns over in the other direction of my house, and they did have there normal fireworks.. I can see that show from my house ( I live on a mtn ).You don't know what you've got til it's gone
