Talking Oops, I did it again !,.. another 34/3W Body

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this.

It was totally by accident,..... I just tripped over this 34 3/W body that was tucked away in a guy's pole barn for the last 25 years (give or take),.... and I just happen to have all the parts I need to build it, but it will have to wait about a year or two, so I can get some of this other junk out of my way,..... I hope to build a really nice version of the 5" chopped one I am building as a daily beater for myself now. But maybe with a Olds J-2 or a 331 Cadillac,.......

It's really hard to find good tin here in Michigan,..... on the other hand, for the last 30 or 40 years we have been hauling lots of good tin out of Pennsylvania.
I am kind of surprised you guys have a hard time finding stuff out there.

In the south central part of the state as well as the southeast, it is pretty played out. However, I am sure that if you travel the northern and western tiers (bordering NY state and the Erie areas) their may be a load of old tin still in the hills. We southern Pa people don't usually venture there. Kind of like going car hunting in moonshine country in eastern tennesee. Not always the friendliest places to be snooping around.

Good score. Here in Florida that almost never happens. I do know of one '32 3 window body with a chopped top that is leaning against a wall in a garage locally. We know the lady through her Son, but she won't even talk about selling it or any of the mid '60's Mustangs sitting around it. "Her one Son is going to build it some day." Same story we have been getting for better than 20 years.

Glad yours came out of storage and will be put to use soon.

The out of state hunters cleaned this country out decades ago. Now we still have a lot of stuff but no 30s Ford coupes.
