page sizing
I seem to have issues with uniform page size. Some forums it is fine and fits right, others I have to scroll across to read a thread, and not with those oversized pictures.
If I try and size down with the minus key the writing gets real small. I think the sites with the advertising sidebar are worse. Anyway, just rambling, anyone have suggestions or thoughts on this?
Sites I have to scroll across on are ebay, HAMB, CHR. Some others like news sites.
Most runboards are sized right, shadetree is ok, RRR and ol skool seem fine.

What browser are you using? Which version of the browser are you using?Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

Check the video setting in the control panel, I have Mac and was able to resolve a similar problem.I have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it

If you haven't got it to resize yet try this.
Right click on the desk top anyplace but not on an icon, a window will drop down left click on properties, go to settings, slide the resolution to the right a window will preview your settings if it’s alright click ok, the screen will go black but it will come right back to your new settings.

I have also found that if a photo, large is pasted in the post it makes the whole tread over size. I found this out by mistake, while surfing another sight I clicked on a post that had a huge photo file in the post, the sides of the thread were blown off the screen. I went right back and hit another link and the screen size was ok , reopened that post with the photo and the boarders were blown out again. My conclusion on the size problem leads me to believe that a large photo pasted onto or in a post anywere in a tread will expand the whole thread... anyway that is what I think for now and will keep watching as I goI have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it

Those large photos blow the whole rest of the thread off the page. I am on the latest Firefox most of the time but still use IE with the latest updates some too. Firefox is my default. I have tried the too large sites on both browsers and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
