Ken Thurm, are you back yet????????
Last we heard from you was on the 19th when you mentioned you and your Wife were heading up North for a little vacation. Are you back yet? If so, how did it go?
We expect lots of pictures, you know!!!!

I think Ken must be busy hunting down parts for the v-12 Ardon!
Hope all is well, too!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Don, I've been wondering the same thing, hope all is well with Ken. I'm anxious to see the latest on his Deuce project. Hopefully, we'll hear from him soon.

I'm going to call him tomorrow and make sure he is ok. It's been a while since he has posted.

I called Ken's place and the lady that answered the phone said he wasn't in today, but that he is ok, and they got back from the trip fine. I didn't leave a message or anything because he probably has his hands full helping with his Wife's medical issues.
It was just strange not to hear from him for a while, but at least we know he is ok.

Good to know, I p.m.'d him last week with a question and neverheard back, which was strange too. Glad to hear all is well. Thanks to keeping us posted." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

No, not since I called his work the other day. I know Ken travels a lot, maybe he is out of the Country or something. But it does seem to be a long time since he has popped in. I'll call tomorrow and leave a voice message on his phone if he isn't in.
I just remembered, I have his email address. I'm sending him a message right now to get his butt back on the forum.

Ok, I called him this morning and left a voice mail. Told him there is a $ 20 a day late fee for not posting regularly, so he better get back to checking in with us.

Good job Don, hopefully we'll hear from him soon, I'd like to see the latest work on the silver '32. By looking at his rods, something tells me the $20 a day late fee wouldn't faze him...............LOL

Yeah, you're right. I should have tacked a couple more zeros onto it.

Ok, I just got in from the shop and wanted to bring everyone up to date. Ken called me tonight while I was driving there, and he and his wife are fine. He has been buried with things he has been doing, and just hasn't had the time to come on.
He is really surprised and happy to see that we all cared enough to worry about him, and promises to get near a computer as soon as he can and post something himself. They didn't get to go on their trip to Northern California, things kept coming up. But they are planning another trip to just chill for a week or two, and he says he will take his laptop with him so he can keep up with what is going on here.

Don, you probably scared him with the threat of the $20 a day late fee, he's having to work too hard now to make it up. All kidding aside, Ken is a successful business man and I'm sure business comes before pleasure, plus he said he likes to do several projects at once so I'm sure his time is stretched thin. How is he going to get the '32 finished if he's on the computer all the time?
It's good to hear things are OK, but a bummer that they had to cancel their weekend trip.

I got back on this web sight and couldn't believe what was written! You guys are some of the kindest people on the planet. Now I really feel bad for not keeping up to date. Thank you all for your thoughts.
Things just got crazy at work, I haven't talked about my job much on here, but it gets pretty stressful at times. I'm trying to take the company to the next level and hire a president for the company at the same time. I'm not good at interviewing but I have to for this position. So we have people flying in and one interview takes all day. I'm drained after that. I have found the guy I want, now it's working out the details. If any of you build motorcycles or work on your bikes you have probably heard of him or at least know of his previous employer. If we put it together it will be news in the motorcycle media. Enough of this.
Thank you all again for your concern.
I have got some work done on my roadster, I will add that on my tread.

Hey Ken, just a thought. George Bush will be looking for a job come January! You wouldn't even have to buy him a new name tag, his already says President. (probably misspelled though )
Sorry things have been so hectic for you, get that stuff out of the way so you can get back to showing us your Deuce building.
