Most newer computers have card reader slots in the front. If yours does not, you can purchase an add on card reader at places like walmart, bestbuy, circuit city and office depot. anyone who works in their technology departments can set you up. Your card reader is nothing more than another place to store data.

A card reader would work. some printers have them onboard, that's where mine are.. what I just did as an experiment with my camera ( HP digital 620 ) is, using Ubuntu linux, I installed Gphoto2 and gtkam ( software and frt end for unloading ptp cameras ), plugged my camera in, detected it and then I was able to unload it onto the computer.. The Casio Exiles are listed as compatible alsoYou don't know what you've got til it's gone
