I shot this video about 7 years ago, its my sons most dramatic performance ever captured and quite possibly his first slip on every teens up and coming bad language period in life. Its a very short clip, his friend dropped his bike peg into a storm drain, My boy gave him a flashlight so he could enter the the drain from a block over. As he is approaching his peg, the flashlight batteries go dead, You can hear the boy saying that faintly, then its my sons fearful and true response that is the crown jewel of the video.

he actually entered the drain from across the lot, about a 150 feet away. It was a crawl straight in and not a drop down, plus I could not fit. So we had to go with the bravest small kid we had. Shure I could have got new batteries before hand, but you dont think of that silly stuff until after the fact.

And yes the boy survived the traumatic ordeal and only suffers from minor nightmares anymore, luckily I did not yell, (OH NO BATS RUN) like I was gonna. And the beauty of the whole thing is the total look of concern on his face. I think he was more concerned that the peg may be lost forever, rather then his buddy getting out alive though.
