    The v-12 was tired, the 6 webers needed a rebuild, the trans was gettin soft, read about $12-15 k to rebuild all.
    cost of conversion was in the $7000 range- sold driveline and new exhaust system for $15000
    Hmmm - lets see 1 Ferrari that doesn't need $2500 majors every 5-6000 miles, reliability, faster than a V-12 and about $8000 cash in pocket, don't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
    By the way---- What does a well dressed Ferrari wear?

    I see the logic and don't disagree. I am just wondering what the end value was from a stock one compared to modified. I'm no purist, if I had the coin I would probably rod a type 41.
    Now let's see one with an aluminum side oiler.

    Who cares if it kills the value of the car. Being cool, and unique has a value all it's own. Looks great!!!.....keep up the good work.
