My prayer`s are for KS & Lavaun.


Got a call from Lavaun yesterday and she wanted me to let everyone know that KS is now in what's called hospice care. They haven't physically moved him, but basically it's just a matter of time now before he joins Doug Cook, Big John, etc. for that big drag race in the sky.
What they had thought was Alzheimer's, they are now calling vascular dementia, meaning that KS, over the last several years, has had a number of small strokes that have taken their toll on his brain. It's expected that his various organs will start shutting down soon and he'll go home for the last time.
Lavaun is handling it well and is prepared (as well as anyone can be) for the end.

Watched him race Indy many times. Wasn't he the only one to show up there when Montgomery had the red Mustang? Sad day.

All we can do is offer the best for the family, and for his days to be the best as can be without suffering.

I prray that his time left is enjoyed by him and his family. Hospice is near the end of the long road, and I hope it is smooth. Prayers for him and his family.

He and his family are in my prayers.

When I was touring with the Mooneyham & Sharpe car I got to meet him several times, very nice man.
