Rain or Shine Car Shows?
I heard the weather is supposed to be rainy for this coming weekend and I was planning on being at the GoodGuys Car Show in Charlotte.
I haven't done an outdoor car show in over 25 years. And I can't remember being at one where it was raining.
I know attendance will be down but I am wondering, is it even worth going if there are rain showers? I mean, do people still bring out their cars?
Thanks for any help here!

The car and spectator attendance will suffer but many, especially the closed cars will still be there, regardless. There will even be open and fenderless cars as well, but it does take a special breed (been there, gotten wet and will probably do it again Note the AVATAR - it's about ready now for the Great Northeast weather!!!)Dave W

If you and your car can deal with the weather, go it will likely still be a good time. Especially if you like shopping the swap meet or vendors. If it raining Saturday night, they will likely cancel the track run. Cold weather doesn't damper the atmosphere but rain will.
If it's pouring with no sign of relief, then skip it. The infield has a habit of becoming a mud bog. Unless of course, your car is a mudder.Bob
