It was 51 today, it didn't rain today, 1st time since???????? no, I think it didn't rain one day last week, and did'nt rain one day the week before that, I think. I know it didn't rain every day since Thanksgiving, but almost everyday!!!!!!!! They say it's been a 2yr drought before we moved here! Our pond was 3-4 ft low, not any more. Feels like cabin fever, can't do anything outside, it's always raining! We got up to it snowing this morning, but nothing turned white. Wheww! We have colds right now to top it off............... We're use to -10 right about this time of yr, But it is 51 above for a change, 60's last week!

WHAT GLOBAL WARMING?
1. A new record was set Wednesday when Chicago had its ninth consecutive day of measurable snowfall, according to the National Weather Service.http://www.mysuburbanlife.com/indian...s-hit-the-area
2. How cold is it? Flint's 95-year-old record low falls as 19 below zero hits cityhttp://www.mlive.com/news/flint/index.ssf/2009/01/how_cold_is_it_flints_95yearol.html
3. A fast-moving Alberta clipper will move across the Mid-Atlantic this morning, and move northeast of the New England States this afternoon.http://www.weather.com/newscenter/st.../?from=hp_news
4. MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Winter-hardened Northeasterners were socked with the same subzero temperatures and biting winds that have turned the Northern Plains, Midwest and Great Lakes into a teeth-chattering misery for much of the week.http://apnews.myway.com/article/20090115/D95NIOQG0.html
5. A second clipper storm is tracking through the Pennsylvania early this morning, taking a path farther south than its predecessor 24-36 hourshttp://www.accuweather.com/news-top-headline.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&date=2009-01-14_16:20

These stories were picked off of the Drudge Report http://www.drudgereport.com/ a few minutes ago. Here in upstate NY we really haven't felt the worst of it yet as it's now a balmy +12F but tonight predicted to -10 to -15F, though a bit further North, predicted to be -20/-30. I'm really looking forward to my trip to Florida in a couple weeks and cavorting in the sun (hopefully - with my normal weather related run of luck, there will be that once-in-a-lifetime blizzard in Orlando)Dave W

That dang Al Gore is telling lies again... Global Warming my butt!!! Last night was -25, today it made it all the way to -4!!!!
The good news is, sounds like they're getting some decent snow in Montana and Wyoming, rivers and lakes out there were down quite a bit... Need lots along the Missouri River, it is really down.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

-9°f here @ 6pm. I'm going to try the "Throw a cup O' water in the air" and watch it float away trick in the morning. I tried it this morning @ -17°f and a little of it made it to the ground before freezing. I'll post some video. We had a hard drive death hear recently and haven't got the movie software reloaded yet."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
