Last time I drove through texas in the winter is was about 15 degrees outside of my soft top jeep cj7. That little heater couldn't do anything to keep up with the black iced roadway! Dave it can get cold in Texas!
Here it's 36 today and raining, if it drops a few degrees I think we'll have snow!
As for you nay sayers of science, Global warming has nothing to do with extreme temperatures but a few degrees rising in average yearly temps, which melts the frozen ice at the poles, raises the level of the ocean a few inches and would take longer than our lifetimes to feel the full effects, but make no mistake or joke, if you want your children or grandchildren to have a decent planet to live on, you'll believe what any person who has studied this tells you, or not. Some people refuse to evacuate their homes in tornados, earthquakes, wildfires, or hurricanes, and sometimes they are fine, sometimes they die. Maybe it is just God hugging us a little closer!
