This just in, Xmas might be delayed a few days, due to below photo.

This country has no idea what it's missing by not having a crack shot in Washington. Cheney being excluded.

Too bad Frank or Dodd wasn't in her sights.

God I love it! McCain gave those damn liberals something thing to worry about and to talk about for over 2 months. She was the highlight of this dull political year. Gracious even in losing which is more than I can say for the other party. Losing isn't in their vocabulary and they will litigate to prove it.

I can't say that I would support her in 4 or even 8 years, but she doesn't bring a certain amount of freshness to the table. Maybe it will rub off on future candidates. We could all use a touch of realilty from time to time.

Say what you will about Gov. Palin, but she is the most refreshing politician I've seen in years. She's "down home", see's what is wrong with this country, she believes in "GOD" and has morals, sure she has a a "funny" accent and turn of phrase(so do a heck of a lot of other people from across this country)... that's why the liberals and left hate her and mock her... she has morals and believes in "GOD" they hate that...is she qualified to be President...probably...she has a lot more experience running a state than most of those in national office today trying to be senators and congress men and women, ...I don't know what this country will be like in 2012 so I can't say who I'd vote for then...But if it hasn't shown any improvement in how were governed, from local to national my vote will go to removing the career politicians.

She's phony as a three dollar bill, and about the same level of corruptness as the Daly regime in Chicago!!!!! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves getting all goo-gooey over someone like her.....

Gotta wonder though, who was the idiot that stuck her on the ticket with McCain???? and what the heck happened to him??? I remember when he had a pair and would actually take a stand on the issues.... Then some idiots stick 'lil Miss Fony with him, and we were all supposed to believe it was real.....

The '08 election only proved one thing to me, NEITHER party has a clue or gives a hoot what's going on out here in the real world!!!! Politics has become nothing more or less then who can pull the biggest scam. Should be good news for the Repulican party, as screwed up as this whole country is they can spend 4 years blaming the Democrats and maybe heal up the party a bit after the last 8 years of fiasco with good old Cowboy George!!!!

In all these discussion I've said that this arachaic two party system is worthless and all that ever gets done is blame the other party and CYA...... I haven't heard one good positive thing out of anyone about what they intend to do to fix things, only what the other guy has done to mess it up.

And, the eternal question.... Are you better off now then you were 8 years ago???? All I see happening in the next 4 years is business as usual, except that we will have a role reversal and the Democrats will be in power and the Republicans will be saying I told you so..... DD, SS

pay out to every one with a hand out watch the dollar drop in the $hitter .sit back watch how bad it going to get. there will be a lot of hungry broken people with not one thing left to loose they will be out on the streets and in your front yards. we have not seen anything yet .i really hope i am wrong

Sarah Palen was a marketing strategy genius. I do not watch the political B.S. rambligs during election time. I never heard a whole lot about or from Mccain, until they brought Sarah Palen to the table. Over night the entire world knew about her, whether you voted or not you were now watching what was going on politically. She was attractive with a bubbly attitude and she was planted there to draw major attention, AND IT WORKED. Sex sells and washington just got pretty.

I hate to say it, but Pat is probably unfortunately right. At the rate we are financially spiralling downward. There are going to be millions more without jobs in the coming year. Weve had a lot of new large buildings under construction around here, they are half complete and they have pulled the plug and they sit idol because the owners have no jobs to fill them with.

The crime rate is going to go through the roof. The only companies showing profit are Winchester, Ruger, Mossberg, and all the other gun and ammo manufacturers (probably in China anyway), and of coarse the oil industry. The government says they know its bad, but they truely have no idea until the idiots running the show, throw thier wallets away and try to find a job and live on 10 bucks an hour. Out of sight out of mind.

I now love all the TV programs telling how you should manage your money, and make yourself more hireable for a job, NO ONES HIRING. Our papers job section is about half its normal size, mostly part time work, and 7 to 10.00 an hour jobs.
