Happy birthday! I have lost so many friends when they were young, that I see each new year, tacked onto a person's age, as a victory!
I agree with most of the posts here. I look in the mirror, or think about the number, and say it's not possible....because I am not ready to be old yet. I make up my mind to only be old on my last day, but be young on all of the others.....then I get busy, and instantly lose 20 or 30 years! :-)
Stay busy!

Congratulations - on the latest anniversary of your 39th birthday. I recall when I reached that milestone - I just got up and went to work like any other day and ignored the date until my LL met me at the door .............. uhhhhh..... oops, more information then you really need to have
Regardless, I hope you had a good day - and the SS checks will arrive on scheduleDave W

Happy birthday
I'm only 63, but recently while trying to get up off the floor, one of the younger guys ask me if old age had sneaked up on me. I said " NO, it came crashing through the door hollering "here I am an I'm gonna kick your a@@". Then it proceeded to do just that."
To many years of being beat up by heavy equipment and trucks.theres no foo like an old foo

Congrats Chevy37...on the birthday and on getting the Soc Sec. One thing about the Soc Sec; the check always comes on time and there will be only one layoff in the future. Hope it comes a long time from now for you!Leo Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the RODS that take your breath away.

Happy Birthday!!! You must have real pull with the feds. I turned 65 last month and was told that I had to go with that Medicare fiasco but won't get on social security until next year. Again, have a great birthday!

Ain't it great to turn old. Spend the morning waterproffing my basement and could only work 4 hrs. because of my back. My mind says I can still do what I did 30 years ago, but my body is saying,"sorry, but your an old man now"Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
