Stuff
Well I got a new computer for Christmas and I have been working on putting up pictures---in the past others have helped me with pictures but I been trying it myself. I have posted several pictures of a 32 five window that I built for a customer---540 inch bbc, 4l80 trans, and Heidt's nine inch Ford irs with Downs ifs. most of these pics show some of the process of building the exhaust system . I used pics from some email files so I hope they work out.
Also shown is a picture of N612UA, a Boeing 767 that I flew many times since 1985 until 1997---It is the aircraft that was crashed into the World Trade Center tower on 9-11-2001
Comments and questions are welcomed and will try tp put up some more of the 32.

Well I tried all day yesterday to upload some more pics and couldn't do it----they were on another CD that was work of a phoyo student and were larger format and a jpg format--I think the others were jpeg and they were smaller----any tips on what I'm missing?

jpeg is an accepted format, sounds like you may have to shrink the size. You should have gotten a message telling you the acceptable size limit. You may have a number of programs in your computer that will edit picture size, but the most basic one that comes with every PC based operating system is MS Paint. In the edit function theres a "resize" choice based on percentage of original. If you're on a MAC I'm sure there's some photo edit program there too.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Small world! My brother in law's dad managed a restaurant on the top floor of the Trade Center, but retired to Tucson before it happened.

John
The engine with the rodeck covers was a mockup-- the real engine is a Dart block / heads 540 cid with Hilborn electronis stack injection---in the end it had fabbed sheetmetal aluminim covers, Vintage air front drive system, Jesel rockers/front belt drive.
I fabbed dual ss tanks that hold 8 gallons each and set both sides of the drive shaft with a gallon header tank and flip top LeMans cap---the header/side pipes are made up close to equal length with nascar type merge collectors and Cobra type side pipes--Heidts polished IRS and a Downs SS IFS---when I get the next pics posted you will be able to see much more of the details.
I watced 612 hit the building on tv---when it appeared in the back ground, I knew that it didn't belong in that air space and would be crashed into the other tower. I was in NY when they tried to blow it up before and watched the smoke from the hotel window---if they ask for volunteers to fly some stuff over Afgan/Pakiland I'll be near the top of the list.

Great pictures, Jerry. You're doing it right and the final product is going to be awesome. The headers are a nice touch and the induction is superb!
I appreciate the comment under November 612. I still get lump in my throat thinking about that tragic day. Those crews need to be remembered as brave and courageous. I hope we never stop hunting scum that took our country hostage on that day until every one of them is ferreted out and punished accordingly!

Glenn
