Looking for an old model car kit?

I made a resolution to get rid of some of the clutter this year. I have more model cars, kits and parts than I can ever build. It's about 50% drag race, and 50%
    street rods/customs/muscle cars/etc.

Anything you have been hoping to find?

That's what got me into trouble! The neighbor...a pinstriper & street rodder.....invited me over to see what he and his boy were doing. I remembered how much fun I had as a kid, so I decided to build "one".

That was about 12 years ago. I've put on contests, made "masters" for people who cast unusual model parts, written and photographed for magazines, and entered contests until I finally won as big as I think I can.

Now I've gone back to working on my business, and trying to finish a paint book, but I have a couple hundred kits, plus parts, decals, and built models laying around, that I keep tripping over! :-)

As far as price...I want to sell, but some of them are pretty hard to find....some aren't. Depends on what you are looking for.

I have no clue what`s out there, so there`s nothing i "have" to get. I assumed you were looking to sell, so i figured i would take a few off you. Some dragsters would be fine, i dont care what car.

How about trying to get some pics up. I haven't done models for a mess of years but if I saw some stuff that interested me I'd get back into it. I need another addiction. I have about 20 minutes a day that I need to fill up to be totally swamped. LOL

Most of what I have is kits or models that you can't buy now. If you aren't looking for the "hard-to-find" stuff, it would be cheaper to buy locally. If you aren't looking for any particular kits, I would say, go see what WalMart has, and save yourself some money. Just the cost of shipping will add $12 to the cost of the first three kits.

Builtup models include The Young American, MPC Comp sedan based on the Ramcharger (forget the name), Monogram Sizzler, McEwen Hot Wheels FED.

I also have some rare rear engine kits.

Right now I have too many urgent things going on to get into this a lot. I have about 200 kits....most of them in plastic tubs.

I did not expect to get much response from guys who don't build already. Sorry.

If you have a certain kind of car you want to build a model of, or know what kits you would like to find, I will start another thread later, when I have an accurate list, or can take pictures.

That I don't have....and I'm not sure anyone made a kit of it. I know there is a convertible, a woodie, and maybe the coupe, but I can't tell you about any other styles.

Sorry Jerry, but no. I always like 24th-25th scale front engined cars. I do think the "flaming" box art for your 1/16th Front motor car was the best ever! Beautiful car!....great shot!

Here are a couple of my digger builds.

No thanks. I did it for love, and even though I've gotten good prices for the models I've sold, it is nothing compared to the hours invested.
