Ken's folding car trailers are now for sale
I don't know how many of you were around when Ken's RPU made it to a photo shoot with a cute model posing with it. You might remember he had it on a folding tubular trailer at the time. Well as I was reading thru Street Rodder's Feb 2009 issue yesterday, I came across a Kendon Industries add for these trailers. They colapse and fold up neatly along a wall but will carry 3,000lbs of hot rod! I wish the truck was lighter as these are very cool. P.S. Ken if your reading this, How did the trip to Austrailia and New Zealand go? You can see what I'm talking about here:
http://www.kendonusa.com/folding-car-trailer.htm and here is a picture linked from Ken site(hope this is ok Ken!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Steve, several years ago I had one of Ken's folding motorcycle trailers. It was one of the best pulling trailers I ever towed, until you saw it in the rear view mirror, you wouldn't know anything was back there. When not in use, folded up and pushed against the garage wall, it took up less space than my work bench. It was a first rate, quality piece. Thanks Ken

Only problem is I can't pull my car on something that is built better than it.

I think Ken needs one of these trailers road tested for a year or two, and it is a proven fact that the roads in SW Florida are perfect for that kind of evaluation. Yeah, just look it up, it is a well documented fact!

I really like the trailer, unfortunately their load capacity is just a little light for my two heavy weights. Ken might be able to sell one to my wife so she can strap me down to one and drag me behind her SUV. That way she doesn't have to put up with my critizing her driving.Bob

Nice looking unit..Ken is obviously a talented engineer to come up with the design. We have a guy in the south island who used to market a folding trailer, but it was only a small lightweight job.
I spoke to Ken for a few minutes on the phone while he was in Auckland, but he didnt have the time to come out west to where we were, setting up at the Kumeu hotrod festival,so I told him we would put some pics up for you guys up there.
Maybe choppedimpala from the south island could do the same with the southern events..
Try this link. These pics were taken by a friend while they were setting up the show sheds,so still a work in progress...
Sorry to hijack your thread,guys..
