Nothing like hair pin turns, road blocks, and uneven pavement to give you a rush. A real test of a good driver.

There is more to this than you think, its an organised and timed event the drivers are not allowed to preview the run, they are given a book with direction, the copilot reads them out as they blast down the road. This goes on for 5 days ,must finish on the tires they start on and they cover a total of 2200 kms with timed heats thruout the day. It ends up being a marathon of whos car will last and who wont crash.

a really cool race seen it a few times. setup so that anyone can win, your time required to finish each leg of the race is based on your weight & horsepower- wet, dry, hilly, bumpy, houses, people & nasty rocks at the edge of the road...and the locals seem to love it.
