How come the 54 has a flathead?? Wasn't that the first year of the Y block?

Might be a Canadian car........they used the flathead for an extra year (54)

i wanted to drag'em both home but don't have the space for them...he also has two 49 fords and 34 ford he said he gave to his sons...but they have been sitting under a lean-to for years..he wouldn't let me get a close look at them...he had big dogs tied up by them...he was a real nice guy though..."Behold, what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called sons of God." 1John3:1

cnile--- Did you get any prices? Also I have been trying to get ahold of the guy with the 331 Hemi, no luck yet but I will keep trying. Thanks by the way for that information.
