Them dang kids from Vegas!!!!
Well, this week at Bristol it was brother Kyle's turn to win....and man, did he dominate!!! He should of won the Nationwide race on Saturday, but a crewman let a tire get away during a pit stop and sent Kyle to the back... Oh well, a 6th and a win ain't bad. Hamlin was second, them Joe Gibb's Toyota's are really working good this year!!!! New chassas' and more experience with the engine really has them going fast!!!!
Suppose that dang kid can win trucks, Nationwide, and Cup all in the same weekend sometime???? Like him or not, he can really wheel a race car!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

There's not a hell of a lot to like about Kyle Busch, but there is one thing he did "Dominate" and he for sure can drive a race car, do doubt about that.
He for sure has proven me wrong a time or two, I thought last year was simply a fluke, one of those years when you can't do anything wrong and luck is on your side never to happen again. Well after seeing the way he is doing again this year I don't think "fluke" has anything to do with it. He simply is one race car driving dude.
But as a person or a spokesman he is the worst any sponser could ever have. He proved that once again when at the end of that Nationwide race he stops the car at the end of the track and runs off like the little kid he is. Storming off the track because he was done wrong by a crew man. Give me a break. If he ever grows up and with his pure driving talent he could be one of the best ever, but I'll bet the farm that his temper and childish behaviour will be his down fall.
RolandProtected people will never know or understand the intensity life can be lived at. To do that you must complettly and totally understand the meaning of the word "DUCK"

Don't have to like him, I guess. Doubt he'll ever be voted most popular driver or anything either, but then it's racing not a popularity contest.....
Actually when he walked off after the Nationwide race instead of running his mouth to the flippin' media I thought it showed a bit of maturity on his part. Certainly a better course of action then his tirade about the COT after his first Bristol win..... I guess in his case just walking away was the best choice.....
As for temper tantrums, heck, maybe he'll get to be as good at them as AJ Foyt was in his prime!!!!!
Anyway, guess there's no place for maturity or attitude in the win column......
Thought Stewart and Newman put in a good showing for the new Stewart-Haas team, too.... Could be an interesting season.... Sponsorship is tougher to get, and the money is going to go to the winners, for sure.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Really??? Heck, I never went racing not leaving the house thinking I could win.... Winning on a consistent basis is what racing is all about, isn't it??? No matter whether you're 3rd or 43rd on the circle track, go out 1st round at the digs, it should be incentive to improve yourself and your program enough to become a consistent winner so everybody will hate you!!!!! Winning is a matter of luck, the harder you work the luckier you get.... What's the alternative??? not keeping score??? Or some "politically correct" scoring system so the loser gets handicapped enough he can be the winner???? The cream always rises to the top.....
Heck, competition is about being willing to do the things you have to do to be the best. Seems the Bush brothers, Greg Anderson, Jason Lines, and a host of others like them in various racing venues have this competition thing figured out.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I don't know,,, first and second place, one popped engine, not a bad weekend!!!!! Them Toyota's are gonna be tough when they get through there second "development" year!!!!
I did notice the camera shot of Coach Gibbs when the 20 car popped, think he was over it shortly after the checkers fell... He probably felt bad for Joey.... Think that kid might have a future in this circle burnin' stuff, too!!!!
Another weird thing from the race, hard to believe it was Bristol when cars were actually passing on the OUTSIDE, too!!!! Now if somebody wanted a really fantastic NASCAR track, how about just like Bristol, only make it about a 3/4 mile instead of a long half.... Kind of like the mile at Dover, only use the progressive banking......Hmmmmmmm.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

He is winning right now, and a hard racer. I like to see him after he's in a bad wreck (probably caused by him), seems like most never really race as good again.

Hmm, Looks like Chevy on top in the points Gordon
These day's you do need to be liked, even smile if you just been kicked in the b...s) if you act like a a$$, M&M's will melt in your hand! (or most sponsors), It's not like it use to be. Your not asking them for only 1 Mill a year any more.
I say anyone but Bush.

Well, at least the kid is being himself, not some smooth and politically correct driver that NASCAR had for so many years, didn't matter who won they all got out of the car and said the same thing and tried really hard not to offend anyone.
As for being in a wreck and slowing down, not really.... If it's a hard enough hit you don't remember any of it anyway.
The kid and a number of others in NASCAR just don't (and don't want to) fit the mold of some cute little preppy who always says and does the right thing... Same reason I like Smoke, what ya see is what ya get, no pretense. The sponsors must like Bush, he brought a few of them with him when he went to Gibbs. Hooray for individualism!!! Even if it means sometimes you're an ***hole--at least he has a personality and is there to win races and not just suck up to the biggest money available.... Gibbs has settled him down a bunch already, by the end of the season I would expect Kyle to be almost housebroken....
As for chebbie leading the points, they should be!!! So dang much experience, talent, and money over there at Hendricks they should dominate the entire season.... but I wouldn't bet a whole lot of money on them winning it all again this year, lots of competition....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I like the way he always wants to lead the race. If I'm a sponsor, that's where I want my logo...up front on camera.Last edited by djv8ga; 03-25-2009 at 02:36 PM.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
