    Dave, OK Dave have it your way. If the Constitution or at least this Artical of the Constitution isn't plan enough for you, and the fact that the United States is taught to ever 1st grader that it is in fact a "Republic" . Have it your way. You can call our Republic any thing you want to. It fits in perfectly well with the way you think about most things I guess. And for certain this time you are WRONG, but thats cool with me.

    No........I didn't call it a Republic..... I said our form of government is a Democracy. You are (again) reading a whole lot into what I said.... All I said was that a Republic means it's leadership is elected, and not a monarchy.

    Right and wrong seems to be a big deal with you.... Not me. I express opinions and don't keep score on right and wrong. Opinions are just that, opinions.... They are not, by definition, right or wrong...


    Oh yeah.... My original correction was the definition of "Republic"-----and not for the phrase "Republican Form of Government"..... Apples to Oranges is a really tough discussion to maintain.....
