Yeah I heard it on the radio. Now they have decided they will wait unitl someone develops black paint that will reflect heat!
This is going way over the line in terms of what the government regulates.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

I miss California but dont think I could move back with all the people, expensive and too many stupid laws and smog! As for it falling into the ocean like some people hope for (especially people here in the south who hate the north and west) that is impossible for it to happen which was supposedly scientifially proven because the way the plates run underground. Now if it broke off and floated away that wouldn't be too bad. Everyone would probably jump off and I would go back.www.streamlineautocare.com
If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!

I was born in San Bernardino and raised in the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California. In the '50s and '60's it was truly a paradise - but even then the smog and regulations were beginning to take their tole. Too many people per square mile. Even with the Sana Anna winds in the fall, the smog still persists.

So are all thos movie actor types and the big wigs going to be buying pastel colored limo's from now on. And how about those who are plopping down $300k plus for a new exotic car, will they have to choose another color?
California legislators are totally insane, have been for 50 years and will always be. The only group worse are their judges.Bob

I guess it's the end for limos, black and whites, hearsts, ect. Naw, just a bunch of people working for the government trying to justify their jobs. Next thing will be smog devices for your rear when you've had too many beans for dinner. The problem is that we have too many people in government with not alot to do so they sit around and dream up all this bull.

Seems pretty stupid. Most people in hot areas already avoid anything black including clothing because you get hot too fast out in the sun. Banning a color for a car is rediculous. What's next?" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

In TX you pretty much have to be a idiot to drive a black or dark colored vehicle as a daily driver. If you have a black vehicle its pretty much driven on COOL NIGHTS only. As to the Californians banning black cars ,EHHHH.... If your not smart enough to figure that out on your own , then I guess you have to ban.Last edited by BigTruckDriver; 03-30-2009 at 06:48 PM.

Good grief!! I was born in L. A., and lived most of my life in SoCal (Twentynine Palms is my hometown, Glenn). I have to say that I am almost ashamed to even admit it anymore - it's downright embarrassing.

I'm just an idiot, but I always thought it was the black INTERIORS that were a problem.
