    Smoke got his 1st win!!!!

My man Smoke got his 1st NASCAR win tonight as a car owner.... Ok, is was the All Star race and didn't get him any points, just the check for a million bucks, but nevertheless he got the win!!!! Winning as a hired gun is kewl, but winning as the owner and driver has really got to be a great filling in this league!!!! I suppose the million bucks feels ok, too!!!

    Congrats Smoke!!!!

And a pretty impressive win at that. I only got to see the last 8 laps, but he looked mighty strong. Seems appropriate he was on the phone with Mr. H. before he even got out of the car. He's a terrific driver, but it don't hurt to get good cars, engines, and a crew chief from the outfit that dominates the top 12 right now.......................with one exception of course.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

True, using Hendricks chassis and engines is a big help.... Guess what I respect most is the things Smoke has done to get in a position to have all these good things available to him.... He sure didn't start out with everything given to him....

Even with all the Hendricks help, there's a whole lot more to setting up and running a succesful team then just the mechanical pieces.....

The last ten laps was spectacular as expected...The rest was kinda boring...Way to go Tony, a class act for sure..

Take the money and run, son! Million bucks will buy a bunch of car parts. I'd bet that Smoke couldn't be happier. I know I would be if I was getting a million bucks.

Glad to see he has come back.
