Where to find patch panels for 66/67 Fairlane ???
Hi Guy's,.....
I picked up a 67 Fairlane 2 dr. HT last year,.... just took it to the shop the other day and got it running and am working on the mechanicals now,..... it's not to bad of a car , but I need lower rear quarter panel patches, the guy I got it from told me he had two new half quarter's that went with the car,... they were in the original shipping boxes so I didn't open them right away,...
The packing slip was from J.C. Whitney (uh-oh) and the panels were worse than I could have ever imagined,... these things are plain "JUNK" nowhere even close,.... I will keep them around to use the sheet metal,...
Anyway do any of you know of anyone that might make or have the patches I am looking for ? It's the area just below the side trim from the rear of the wheel opening to the rear bumper.
Thanksa sinner saved by Grace,...... EPH. 2:8-9

Dearborn classics is a good company to deal with.. most of the Fairlaine sheetmetal is available through them..
when I had my Falcon, not even Dearborn had the 1/4 panels.. JC. Whitney was the only supplier, and getting the 2 $60 panels to my house with shipping made the total $360... they were close enough to be usable, definite need of work, but they were better than what the car had.. sold the car b4 putting them onYou don't know what you've got til it's gone

If you're hoping to find perfect panels, probably isn't going to happen. Haven't used any panels from a wide variety of suppliers over the last few months and all of them required some rework time....
