    2009 Sacramento Autorama

The Sacramento Autorama is the 2nd longest running indoor car show in the world and has been around for 59 years.

Well I finally finished uploading all the pictures of some coolest looking cars from this years 2009 Sacramento Autorama. With that said, I'm sorry it took so long to get the pictures up.

It was another great show as usual and the weather, well rain Thursday(set up day) and cloudy most of the weekend but at least it kept the temps down.

On hand at the show was Butch Patrick AKA Eddie Munster with the Munster Kaoch, Catherine Bach, aka Daisy Duke with the General Lee, Super Model Sandra Taylor, Chris Jacobs host of the hit T.V. show Overhaulin and the Hubgarage.com and what was touted as the World's Largest Merc Gathering which was just awsome! The Sam Barris Merc, The Hirahotta Merc, The Westergard Merc, and many more. There was also an historic custom car Panel Discussion featuring John Barris (Sam Barris’ son) and Gene Winfield,,, way COOL!!

I also found Norm Grabowski and his galfriend Lydia walking by Thursday evening while I was snapping some pics of the cars. I stopped shooting and struck up a conversation with them and they both posed for a couple of pics. Norm told me that there was re-make of his old Kookie T at Sacramento Vintage Ford Parts Inc. just outside of Sacramento. The next morning I was off to see it. All these pics are also included

More info on the show that was in Feb. '09 can be found at http://www.rodshows.com/sa/index.html The guys/gals at HotRod Shows dot Com did another fantastic job!! They are also the same people that bring us the The Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS) thats held in January.

Hope ya all enjoy the pics.

Got to have the pics!!!! I keep thinking someday I'm gonna have the time to go to some of these shows.... Looks like Sacremento was another great show, definitely on my list of places to go. Guess I'm kind of like the Chicago Cubs, "wait till next year"......

Nah Dave, ya gotta quit reading that darn "Procrastinators Unite" thread and just do it!!

It is a great show but this year they didn't have the AMBR winner from the 2009 GNRS or the Ala Kart which I really wanted to see.
