Okay, I'm ready to come to the party...............
Hey...............you're still older than me!!Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Thanks again everyone. Bob, how did you know we had to get
a special permit from the city to put candles on my cake? Maybe a result of that little "incident" that I blamed on Mrs. O'Learys cow back in 1871. Had to leave Chicago rather quickly after that birthday party.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

Thanks. BTW Brad, I just saw a 9 year old dog, and he didn't look too good either!
Dave, yep I must be really important. Every year on my birthday they set off fireworks all over. They always miss it by one day, but I don't have the heart to tell them.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Thanks again for all the nice wishes. The party is over, the dancing girls have all left, the dumpster full of whiskey bottles is gone, and the police only gave us written warnings the 4 times they were called out, so it was all in all a pretty tame party by my usual standards. (Ok, I actually worked all day and napped most of the night, but a guy can dream, can't he? ) But tonight I'll get to have dinner with Don, his GF Taylor, and Dan, so that will be nice.
Funny, I don't feel any older than I did 24 hours ago.

Sorry for the late wishes didn't make it to the computer until now! Happy belated Birthday. Hope you and the boys did something fun together! as Jimmy Buffet says, " I'm growing older but not up, my metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck, let the winds of time blow over my head, I rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead!"" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
