    58 Ford short bed

What is it work. yea loaded question. it has been sitting for a long time. it supposedly runs, but i don't even know the motor in the truck. has rust but it dis not look too bad, mostly in the flat areas which should be easy to cut our and replace. has most of the dash. four head lights across the front. it is a short bed. bed has rusts. sorry i don't have any pics, camera battery was dead, murphey's law. the guy said he would sell it for $500.00 but i think he would take less. he did so it ran when he parked it. how about throughing some prices out for me to kick arourd. he just want is gone. just sits in his field. he will never do anything with it. someone owed him some money and gave it to him. not like i need another project but i thougt about a rat rod truck project that i did not have to worry too much about and keep the bucks low. Opinions. Of course keep in mind i have just completed 8 weeks post op major back surgery and am currently doing a frame off resto of a 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser LV along with all the family shit so i really need another project like a hole in the head, but it seemed like it could be cool and the price was wright. Your Opinions Please.

For 500 bucks, you can't hardly go wrong unless it is a complete P.O.S. If it is complete and all the glass is good, go for it.
