I got a good wife
my wife after staying home to raise our 3 kids to an age that the can stay home after school by themselves went back to school to get a certificate and has now got a full time job as a teachers aide starting in the fall. She asked me a couple of days ago what kind of mig welder I liked, she had been working part time helping kids this spring at the local high school in shop welding and had gotten some training on welding . Suddenly a 180 amp Lincoln weld pac shops up in my garage along with a auto dim helmet. She bought it fo me and told me its coming out of her 1st check this fall.
I asked if this means i can build my next t bucket hambster alterd and i got a positive response.
I gots a good wife

That's awesome. Congrats on the new welding machine and the cool wife. My wife watches speed channel with me, goes to car shows and the drag strip and won't let me sell my hot rod. She was homecoming queen too...hehe. Maybe she needs to learn to weld. Great Idea!

That's terrific that she thought that much of you to do that. Very cool.

Al, you indeed have a keeper, but then, she probably does, too! Has a nice bunch of flowers appeared on the kitchen table yet, or even better, at her school so everyone is asking her about them??
Josh, on the Holley's, you need a messier garage with better hiding places....Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

canadianal, Tell your Wife Good Job for me. My daughter went back two years ago to finish; she only needed two credits to get her degree. Her oldest of three boys was 8 years old at the time, she went back during the summer. It was better for her to have help at that time.
You just can’t beat having a wonderful Wife. Forty years, and my Wife still is the greatest. My garage is full of project cars to the point I have no place to work. I said if I only had a small garage that I could work in, it would be nice.
My Wife said you only go around once so you might as well get the biggest one you need. If I could only figure out how big do I need for it to be!!!!
This song sums it up. "HOW ABOUT US"

That is so great, give her a huge hug and kiss and weld something up that she will like. My wife is also very indulgent of my hobbies, it is the best gift you can have. sounds like a keeper to me! Congrats to her for going back to school. You are never too old for that.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!
