At least the mustang is a real V-8 car, not front wheel drive, Race on Sunday, sales on Monday use to be the motto. But, who wants a Focus or a Camry??? Nascar cars have never been pony cars- Mustangs/Camaros, they have always been midsize cars. I guess if they are just body images it doesn't really matter what they put out there, as I am not buying them based on Nascar and know that nothing on the track has a stock part on it.

The pony cars may revive the NNS series - I actually like it better as the old cars can at least pass while the new COT are making for some really boring racing, i.e. this past Indy 400. I have to think that's why you see so many Cup drivers crossing over as well. You get in front and you can usually stay there. In the pack, you may be relegated to whatever position you can hope for.
Makes me curious as to what Toyota has to bring to the fieldDave W
