I am still using the old pens, pencils and paper for my concept drawings, though someday I will take the time to learn how to use one of the computer programs.
What are you using for this work?

Thanks. The only thing is that after I run off copies of the original drawing, the ink doesn't reproduce as dark, even though I darken it using a simple program I have.
I would like to eventually make the change to get the cleaner, sharper image, and richer colors.
Does your program allow for drawing in changes to the vehicle?

Okay....By listing all of those programs, DennyW has made me curious.
How much time would you guys estimate for ... an initial workup of a car with body mods and wheel changes, then three different graphic schemes?
Using the "pen & pencil" program, I can usually do the original pen and ink of the car, and then three different schemes, including three different color combos, in about 8-10 hours.
Is there a time savings in the computer programs? I usually get about $300-$350 for the effort. I thought the computer generated work might enable me to lower the cost.
Also I would be curious about what program you guys would choose, if you could only have one.

WOW! The thing that impresses me is how photorealistic the pictures are, using a computer!
The truth is that what I am selling is not pictures ...but ideas. The thing that impresses me is that the colors can be so much richer, and the details sharper, so it would help to "sell" the idea.. Many of my customers cannot visualize things well, so the illustrations really help them.
