My wife and I both go to the local indoor range occasionally, but it's all handguns. There aren't any long distance ranges around here for rifles (that I know of). As far as handguns go, we have all kinds of calibers from .22 to .45. We each have a Taurus PT-92 (9mm) semi-auto. Those are really nice accurate range guns, but a little large to carry comfortably. She also has a PT-1911 (.45 ACP) which is her favorite range gun, but also too big to conceal easily. She carries a .357 snubby. At the range, I like my Taurus PT-945 (.45 ACP). As for carrying, it depends on what kind of clothes I'm wearing. I usually cary a Charter Arms .44 Bulldog Pug or a Taurus PT-145 (.45 ACP), but if I don't have a baggy enough shirttail to conceal either of those I carry a Keltec .380 in my pocket.
