With all due respect to those guys on here who do appraisals, in many cases you can get any number you want from some appraisers. Artificial numbers can be useful for insurance purposes and cheap talk over your beverage of choice, but when it comes time to move a car the only appraiser whose opinion has any REAL validity is the one with a bag full of Benjamins.

This guy's car is advertised in the single largest car marketing tool in the world. If he's right about the value he puts on it, it will sell, maybe not on the site but in offline traffic generated by being advertised there. Same for the appraisal that's supposedly low because of current market conditions. Again, if that were accurate he'd have bidding proving it.
