    ever had that perfect day?????

Yesterday I was ready to sell my truck and had a gentlemen come down from about 50 miles away to take a look at. Took him out for a drive and it was just one of those days where everything went right, no noises, engine ran 110 percent, just no problems at all. He liked and offered me $$$$ but I just had a certain feeling to hold on to my 37 and refused his offer. Glad I did as my wife and I drove 180 miles to a friends house and had alot of fun. I guess after owning something for as long as I have, it's just hard to give up. Yep I could have used the money, but in the long run I would have had to buy something else, so my 37 is still mine and hope it will be for some time.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Good for you. Same thing happened to me about 10 years ago. I took my 27 to Turkey Run and put a for sale sign on it. A man contacted me and said he wanted to buy it and to meet him at Belaire Plaza that night to wrap up the deal. I went, and when I called him on the phone I started getting excuses, so I decided I was supposed to keep it. So glad I did, and have no idea what was going through my head back then to make me think I was done with rodding.

I look back now and am really glad someone had more sense than me at the time.........He was evidently looking out for me.

Now go out and drive the 37 and kick yourself for even thinking about selling it.
