    What's the deal

I have made a few post but only one went thru. I get a message that a mod must approve my post, but that never happens.
Not much sense being a member of a forum if all you can do is read!
    Thanks
Edit: Oh , this post went thru?

Every once in a while this site has an electronic gremlin visit. As you can see, I'm not exactly a newbie with 2 "personas". I did a nice long post last week - and it too didn't 'take'. Hang in there

if i have a " long winded " post i do it in " wordpad" on my system then copy and bring it here .. long time typing can get a person unhooked from a post

It's a good thing. Once you stick around some you will appreciate that it does this or else we would have spam all over these forums.

As a new user we choose to moderate the first few posts with links or pictures attached due to a number of crafty spammers who have at times flooded this (and other) forums with their spam/scam posts. I check in when I can to see what needs to be moderated at that time. I then have to go in and manually look at every one of those posts (more than you think) to either remove it, or approve it.

Hope this helps you understand the procedures on this forum. It's what you do not see in the background that takes the most time.

I thought it was due to the "Streets" filter being in place. (what ever became of him)?
