How many forum members does it take to.......
How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb?
1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed.
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light
bulb could have been changed differently.
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.
1 to move it to the Lighting section.
2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section.
7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs.
5 to flame the spell checkers.
3 to correct spelling/grammar flames.
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to
condemn those 6 as stupid.
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp".
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb"
is perfectly correct.
19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this
discussion to a light bulb forum.
11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs
and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum.
36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy
the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique
and what brands are faulty.
7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs.
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected
URL's.
3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this
group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group.
13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all
headers and signatures, and add "Me too".
5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot
handle the light bulb controversy.
4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about
light bulbs".
18 who trip over each other in their rush to say "repost!"
1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start
it all over again.Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

12 to argue to replace with tradition style light.
10 to complain it is not a rat style light.
17 to say it's to new for this forum.
11 to vote to lower it a little.
9 to say chop 2'' out of it.
7 want to pinstripe it.
14 HAVE to have a black light.
4 says they have seen you post it on other forums.
8 state l had that same light in the 50's and it was good enough for us, so why change it

Absolutely brilliant,I think both of you need a holiday,try New Zealand,good exchange rate with your dollar at the moment,just bring your own LIGHTBULBS,or should it be light bulbs..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

Aw, Bill, now you've done it.
You have gone and hurt everybody's feelings.
You must know that all of us here under your watchful eye are serious, thoughtful, and considerate. We would never post anything frivolous or silly or unnecessary, or just stuff to make our presence known.
But then, come to think about it, yesterday I did submit a posting about possums ........

9 want to know if your'e leaving the shade or running shadeless
1 thinks if one is good, 2 must be better
5 ask if ya tweaked it to make it brighter
2 ask if your'e gonna leave it stock
1 posts '' if it ain't glass, it ain't real''
6 ask if it was a barn find

I am going to recheck my new build pictures befor I post them now.
My down sides are
1. My spelling is not perfict
2. I tend to build out side of the "normal" box at times
3. T tend to mix metrials media.
My up sides are
1. At 70 I am bullet proof to critisisum
2. My feelings can not be hurt.
3. I do not take myself too seriosly
