I have been wondering the same thing. I hope he didn't leave after being severely flamed by a couple of members who shall remain unnamed. Seems to happen to some of our most valuable members. (DennyW comes to mind.)

I was wondering the same thing a couple of weeks ago so I went back to his last posts. He kinda went off on another member and was PM'd about it by the Mod, so I guess he left. I like RIchard and he is a wealth of info, but he does have a short fuse sometimes and is the first to admit that. We all have bad days and I think Richard might have had something going on outside here that flipped the switch that time. I reread the whole thread and he was maybe a little off base, and if he checks back and reads this he knows he and I both try to be as honest as possible, even if the truth hurts.

I hope after an appropriate cooling off period he comes back because he certainly contributed a lot to this forum with his experience and skills. He has gone out of his way to do desktop dyno work for me on my new engine, and I do appreciate that a lot.

We communicate almost daily and he's doing fine, or at least as much as he's willing to admit. If he does as he has in the past we'll be blessed with his sage advice again at some time in the future.
