    Art Chrisman's Christmas Party

Art has a Christmas party every year, if you ever get the opportunity to go it is well worth the time. About 600 of his closest friends showed up this year.

Dave- I didn't meet him so, I never saw it before. It's one of the neat things that happen every year, you see cars that you never saw before. There were some wild ones this year. Art is building some really cool stuff, as always.

Ken, ditto on thanks for the great link. There were so many fantastic cars there. Is this an annual event that is open to "proper" rides, or invitation only? Curious how they control the crowd, or if they try?

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Thanks Ken, a lot of cool iron there. Lot's to like, and just a few thoughts.

    That custom '36 3 window couldn't have been painted a better color......MAN!

Those engine stands against the wall give a hint of Chrisman's attention to detail.

The metal work mods on that brown and black A roadster with orange wires is incredible!

Lindsey takes very good pictures and amazing how the crowd must have cooperated with him.

That Cord Beverly Sedan converted to a two door is killer!

Geisler's pickup always makes me happy. And he's nuts............in a good way!

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Roger-There are no invitations, just show up and Art will feed you. He does this every year. Usually 500 to 600 show up with there finest Iron. At one of his party's the Mondello Fiat was driven in, you should of heard that thing in between those buildings, then did this burn out that made you cry !!

Bob- The detail on some of these cars is better than most cars you see at shows. Art is pushing 80 and still putting out some of the most beautiful detailed iron you have ever seen. I go there just to see what he is working on some times. When we were racing in the Nostalgia Racing circuit we got a lot of time to hang out and listen to story's about he and Jack.
Do you remember his mid engine '32 gold colored coupe? It sold for $660,000 at Joe's Garage auction.
