What to do with 02 impala?
I figured you guys might have "been there done that" and hoped for a little advice. I have a 2002 Impala that has 215,000 miles. The trans just went out and its 2000 dollars to rebuild. Well the car is only worth 2500 if I sold it, It got some bad hail damage about 4 months ago. SO, even if I did fix the trans I would not make much off it. Also If I did fix the trans the motor is on the way out. I am thinking to part it out and my wife says do one of the donation tax right offs. I told her I could make a dune buggy out of it but she did not like that idea,lol. I am thinking just part it out , heck the motor and trans has to be 600 pounds of alum.
