I watched it mainly because I saw a 26 Tudor while flipping through the channels. I guess my build will now be considered "cool" with the common non-car people that watched a mindless tv show. Maybe at least it will get younger people involved in old cars. Fairly certain I will not watch the next episodes.
Me: I don't know how to build a hot rod.
Old Hot Rodder: You ever build a model car?
    Me:Yeah...
Old Hot Rodder: Well instead of using glue you weld.

Unfortunatly the'll think they're learning from the "pros" so that must be the way hot rods should be built..... kinda like another aspect of the hobbie has become actually

There are now shows about clowns driving wreckers, driving some road in Alaska, riding on a fishing boat; all kinds of stuff. Throw in the shows about building cars. Does a group of wrecker drivers watch the show about some clown in Chicago towing stuff and proclaim "it's too hokey and they dont show enough detail"? Probably they do. And the commercial fishermen who whatch the show and want to see more of their fishing skills rather than a bunch of water splashing everywhere......these shows are not made for car guys, fishermen, wrecker drivers, or truck drivers in Alaska.....they're made for the morons who never will do any of these things and who have time to sit in front of the tube and listen to the advertisements....the show is only filler material until the next ad.
