I just finished looking through the photo's, I can't beleive how many nice cars were destroyed,
http://www.facebook.com/photo_search...23826&view=all
there are 6 pages of the cars before and after the fire.
I do hope that there is insurance on these vehicals, although i don't think any amount of money could replace the memories and blood sweat and tears that has been put into these cars.

There may be some salvage - but usually the steel is too far gone once it has been exposed to enough heat to buckle panels and burn tires off - especially when I see lifts that are twisted
That is a sad ending to a lot of very interesting cars and engines. RIP!!!
Insurance - only if each individual car owner has it covered. They can try suing for recovery, but pennies on a dollar isn't much of a return after many folks have spent their savings accounts and often years of work.Dave W

There were 9 cars destroyed in Jason's shop. He had insurance on the shop and tools. Please keep Jason in your thoughts. It will take a long time for Jason to recover.
Lesson to learn here. If you do work on others cars have shop insurance to protect your investment. It's easy..Just ask someone that hasn't ever done it!
See ya on the road.

Yep this happened to a buddy of mine a few years back.
He had a late 60's Elcamino put it in a body shop to have a few dings removed from the bed. The shop burned down while the car was in there, made me sick.
He had all the good stuff in it, and what ever was not painted was chromed.
Big block with a Dana 60 rear end, just a beautiful machine.
Lost in a fire, thank God he had it insured.
But he said he will never build one again to much time and money.
Thats Sad!!!!

Several years ago we did quite a good trip of USA, and on our trip we got to meet Mike and Christine Frade. We didn't stay long with them, but in that relatively short time we both gained a great...
