For real,Tech?? I got a feeling that this is where the thread gets hijacked,so I will apologise to Kurt, who,is doing the suffering here, and I am sorry to here about your health, but Techs post reminds me of a story about a guy from Australias outback, who, one day, decided to take a break, and have a few days at the coast,as he had NEVER had the chance to walk on the beach before. So he packed his bag and jumped on a train, and left for the east coast,to have a bit of R&R.He went fishing, and caught a few mullet, and the odd flathead, first time for fresh fish too..The day before he was due to go back home,he caught another mullet, put it in a bucket so he could take it home to show the family, hopped the train, with his bucket, and on the way home, the water level was receding a bit so he topped it up with fresh water, did this a few times, the mullet didnt seem to care,so when he got home, the bucket was topped up again, and again, until the water was fresh, not salty at all.Well, because of the drought,he couldnt use what little water he had at home on the station,so eventually, the mullet was floppin around out in the yard with the chooks, fightin over scraps of food,no probs....Well,one night, the drought broke, and it poured with rain for HOURS...
The guy came out the next morning, and ya wouldnt believe it...
There was his mullet,lying in a puddle....DROWNED....Micah 6:8

Oh, the desert rat stories are starting up; that's a good old one, Tech; I told that to one of my grandsons and he tried to follow a lizard around the place in Twentynine Palms for an hour to see if it would climb onto a stick.
Kurt, I di'n't realize you were a desert rat; come on back home; I'm sorry you have that problem, but I definitely understand it; humidity is real hard on me - I have enough problems in the dry. Today it is a wee bit hazy, mild breeze, heading for about 80, and rh is about 35 - according to my patio gauge; pollens are starting to drop off some. It's been quite dry most of the past few weeks, though; static shocks are often pretty brutal - make you say "OW!!". We're still having the "spring swings", though; the guessers are saying we'll have another blow and twenty degree temp drop, and maybe some precip by Tuesday.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.

But it will be beautiful for Henderson Days tomorrow...
And the NHRA should like it too, if the track isn't too slick.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Yep Rrumbler; I have sinus problems too with the pollin, but the humidity just fills my lung right up like a glass of water. Though when I was out there I would get a nose bleed from the dry weather. But I would rather have a nose bleed and be able to breath again.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
