    What car is this?

While on vacation here in Flagstaff Az., we ran across this car in the desert on the Navajo Indian Reservation.
Any ideas as to what car it is, and what year?
Picture to follow in a minute

Yeah, I think I "saw" one of those in a James Bond movie.

Sorry Guys, my wife took the picture in RAW nikon picture format, and I spent half the morning trying to download a software to convert them. Also internet reception is spotty at best here so it is taking all day to do a 5 minute task. We also drove by a find of five other cars abandoned on route 66 from the dustbowl era we were told. I'll post those later when more modern connections are available.
For now here is the mystery car

Looks like about a 51-52 Mopar. I'd say by what's left of the taillights it's a Dodge.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

rspears, Man you got close real close, but it is a "1950" Dodge Coronet. The taillights are the give away.

First photo is a 1949 Coronet----- 2nd is a 1950 Coronet. See the difference?

    RS

Well maybe and then again maybe not Hummmm Looks llike the one of the Old Tin the taillight is squared at the top while the 50 is pointed on top..... Hell I just don't can't tell.

I would've thought the 3 piece rear glass would help narrow it down ? I have to admit my first thoughts were that it was a member of the Mopar family
