Owner of Thoroughbred Coach Builders passed on May 5th,
Searching for someone on another site, I found out Gil Longnecker of Thoroughbred Coach Builders passed away.. Not only did we loose a hotrodder, we lost the company he ran, Classic '36 pickups, Classic '36 Mercedes, and also the gull wing factory. all kits that utilized some form of donor car, and as far as I know, it was 1 of the few remaining " Kit Car " companies..
I think he was most well known for the Classic '36 Pickup tho, which was a fiberglass '36 Ford that could be put on a '83-'97 Ford Ranger chassis.
