Not into Mopars,.... But you can't beat the price !
Well guy's
I got a call from my nephew's best friend,... he said,... "I bought a brand new GT Mustang" I congratulate him, He goes on,... "Remember I only have a one car garage?,... you need to come get my old project car",.... "just get it out of here,... we'll work out something later,... but it will be really really cheap"
I go down state last week,.... and this is what we rolled out of the garage, A 1969, 383 CID 4V Road Runner,..... when I asked him again,.. how cheap are we talking,... he said,... "Just get it out of here. :-)
My son's think it would be the perfect "Old man Hot Rod",..... but I ain't such a big Mopar fan,...either way, it is going into the barn, until I figure out what to do with it.
The first two pictures is how it rolled out of a 12 year hibernation,... the next ones are after a hour in the shop,...Last edited by highboy32; 05-24-2010 at 06:39 AM.

Nice score! Look, everyone needs a Mopar story to make their life complete....now you've got yours.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

My life story with Mopars is why I'm not a Mopar guy,.... I have owned, In the past a 71' Charger, a 76' Cordoba, a 70' Cuda, and a few others.... If you spit on the street next to any of them on a dry day, they wouldn't start.
well,........ I may be exaggerating a little. :-)a sinner saved by Grace,...... EPH. 2:8-9

While I'm not exactly a Mopar guy either, I still think ones like the one you scored are as cool as they come. You owe your buddy a beer (or a few hundred) I think these rank right up there with all the other muscle cars of that era as being the reason why the 60's/early 70's were so much fun car wise.
Really good score for sure. Beep beep.

As my ol' dad used to say, "what do you want for nothing - your money back or something?"
Great score - this could be a lot of fun!"Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil

Beep-Beep!! Nice. Only "-pars" I ever much liked were the mid sixties to early seventies editions - like that one. Mucho potential there.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
