Old Shell Station in Issaquah, WA...

On the way to the XXX Rootbeer Spring Opener Show a couple weekends back and found a cool restored Shell Gas Station that I thought was great for photo! We don't see these much in these parts...

The '28 sedan in the photo is my buddy's that is up for sale.

    Greg,

Was the Model A flatbed parked in the garage bay when you were there?

The last couple years they park it under the canopy during the summer months. Hope they put it out again this year.

I remember years ago before the restoration I would buy welding supplies from a welding supply store that rented the building.

I think over the 18+ years it has been a feed store, antique store, vacant, and as Bob said, a welding supply store. I must have missed that phase though.

    Greg,

Thanks for the pics. I've been by that place a 1/2 million times and never thought to take a pic and I used to be one of the biggest camera nuts around. Almost all of my dozens of cameras are film ( 35mm, 120, 620, 2 1/4 x2 1/4, 6X7, and 8X10 ) but I do have a couple of digitals. I used to take the Pentax 6X7 everywhere ( hunting and fishing, sun, rain, or snow). I need to start using the digitals more.

    Jack.

You're welcome Jack... just another reason to get the camera out I guess, huh?
