I put this in the lounge as it dosen't pretain to hot rods or street rods. Its my P/U 93 GMC bought it new in 93 so I know all that has been done to it which isn't much. Been a great truck 5.7 with automatic trans A/C and power everything. Problem my A/C compressor went out. realy don't know why BUT, I spent 2 days out in 2 salvage yards looking for a matching one. found over 100 with according to Hollander would be the same. Not a chance. Not even the same trucks had the right one. Mine has two different size ports on the back every other one I checked had both the same. Another odd thing my truck the oil pan is orange. FROM the factory. Anyone know anything about this compressor???? I hope.
