I agree they need to close up the boarders and make people enter legally if they are comming in. This stuff with people just driving in with car loads of drugs and shooting at police or boarder patrol agents is BS. Not to mention kindnapping young girls and takking them back in to Mexico to give to the drug cartell as a gift, has to be stopped as well.

The Feds have posted the Border Patrol guys 60 miles north of the border. The Fed wants the illegals to continue pouring in. As soon as they get here, they get signed up as Democrats.

Man, they've really gone too far this time!!! All the people of Arizona are trying to do is enforce the existing laws governing illegal immigration!!! If you're going to live in this country either support the laws we have, go thru the legal system (as our great-grandparents did), or stay the hell out!!! We've got enough criminals and gangs without welcoming more!!!!

Anybody have any idea what happened to "a government of the people, by the people, and for the people"? Seems to have been done away with sometime in the last 3 decades!!!

Vote out ALL the incumbants, maybe it's the wake-up call these idiot politicians will actually pay attention to!!!!!

Right on Dave. I'm embarrassed to be associated with anyone who thinks there is a problem enforcing illegal immigration.
How would our ancesters have felt who learned the language and worked hard to become legal citizens, if when they got here, they were told sorry, we are going to let 10 million people who snuck across the border become citizens, even though they committed a felony, so your going to have to go back home and either sneak in to the country or wait another ten years to become a citizen, unless you speak spanish, because we need bilingual teachers to help teach all the illegal immigrants that are currently in our school system!
It just frustrates the hell out of me. I'm sure none of the congress, senate or oval office would allow anyone to cut in line in front of them at the theatre, but that's exactly what they are doing with illegal aliens to others who emmigrated here legally .

I barely remember my Great-Grandfather Sigmund and my Great Uncle Lars, but what I do remember is how proud they were to have learned English and passed the citizenship test!!! Their English wasn't good, but the only time they spoke Norwegian was to say something they didn't want the kids to understand!! I also remember how proud my Grandfater Julius was to have been born in this country of Naturalized Citizen parents!!!!

If the system worked way back then when a pair of Norwegian ship builders emigrated to rural Larchwood, Ia. and took up building barns instead of boats, then went on to raise 10 kids each and farm a combined total of 400 acres that they homesteaded, why can't that same system work now???

I've got absolutely nothing againist legal immigrants who work hard and wait patiently to meet the requirements of being a US Citizen, but nobody will ever convince me I should feel any sympathy or compassion to those who circumvent the system and sneak in!!!!

I again am probably looking at things on a simplistic basis and don't understand the entire problem..but to me it's as simple as who do you respect more, the man who scrimped and saved to build his Hot Rod or the man who stole his???? The law is the law, either work within it's confines or fight to change it but do it LEGALLY!!!!
