Dave that's gotta be true with all the chotskis they sell this weekend that end up in the dumpster Monday! I do like watching the kids ooh and ahh over the fire works(enjoy them myself) and enjoy the family and friends that gather on this day! I also am glad for the freedoms we have. Steve." July 4th - great holiday. The kids all here, great time of games (beat my son-in-law at horse shoes!) and then there's the bbq ribs!!
In times of great bounty as well as the difficult times, I thank God that I am an American. Been lots of places in the world and there's no place like home. Nothing even comes close. As to our current political situation - this too will pass as Americans once again remember what is true and right and worthy. Please remember the privileged we have to vote and let's all turn out in November!
Blessings all,
Glenn

I hope ALL of you guys and gal[s] up there enjoyed your weekend, especially for the reason...I have probably mentioned this before, but your patriotism stirs me,,,and I think its amazing that for such a large country you have, and a diverse range of nationalities that have built the country to what it is today, you people have something special..The problem I can see, appears to be ,that the older generations have sweated their guts out to build it up,and the current younger generation seems to be bent on running it into the ground..or holding their hands out for a gift..Not all of them, true,I can see Joe looking sideways at me,and a bunch of you guys who have family still in the forces,,still fighting..I hope this has come out the right way, written word is so difficult for me to express what I mean..dont want anyone to come lookin for me..
And Glenn, that rib cooker looks kool, can smell it from here...Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

You are right there, but you know we are a young Nation compared to other countries and still a babe growing up.
We are kinda like a sail boat that has hit a strong breeze and the captain don't know much about sailing.
We gotta just keep on keeping and it will work out in time.Don D

A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
