Magazines for Deployed Club Hot rodders
I used to work at an Air Force base that had a box to put items for the deployed squadrons, that they would send out to them. So they would get all my old magazines from both myself and the wifes (autoweek, street rod, fitness, entetainment weekly, elle, etc). I no longer work for that division anymore, and I have a pile of mags I want to send overseas, so how about a couple pms with y'alls address' and I will get them out to you, so you can distribute them to the men & women in your squadron/platoon.
God Bless our troops,

Mike if no one here on CHR is over seas I am trying to get an address of someone that another forum I belong to uses to send stuff to regardless if it's books, school supplies, games, munchies & hygiene stuff for the troops. As soon I as I get it I will post it here also
BUT, by all means any of you folks overseas have an address for us PLEASE let us know because there are more then just us on CHR that would like to help you fine folks out...joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

I've sent boxes of magazines and books to the troops and this is how I do it. Go to your local post office and pick up some Priority Mail boxes specifically marked 'APO/FPO Flat Rate Box'. These boxes are free, you can get as many as you want, they measure 12"x12"x6" and best of all, being a Flat Rate box, they will ship for $10.95 regardless of the weight up to 70 lbs. The last ones I sent weighted 33 & 35 lbs. Rather than send them to an individual soldier who can get moved from post to post, I was told to send the boxes to the Library. This way more soldiers have access to the magazines, books, etc.
On the APO boxes there are lines and boxes for the address, here is the address I was given and have used,
MWR Library.................(on the line marked, Service member full name)
USAF 332ASW/SSVS......(on the line marked, Military organization or unit)
APO-AE-09315..............(in the boxes marked, APO/FPO with Zip code)
I hope this helps,
Mike

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
